Single Tooth Replacement

 
The single tooth implant restoration consists of three separate parts: 

  • The implant which replaces the root of the tooth
  • The abutment (post) which will support the crown
  • The crown (cap) which is placed over the post

The crown may be cemented or held in place with a screw.
